Makeflux is born from the idea of interconnected flux that exists between different expressions of art. It represents the work and research made by Maria Anastasia Kefalaki, most of the times in collaboration with other artists.

Born in Athens, Maria Anastasia Kefalaki is an architect-engineer. She is a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens (2009). Her interest in crossing different expressions of art led her to develop a research on movement and space for her dissertation entitled "From Dance To Architecture" (ENSA-V 2008, N.T.U.A 2009) and a diploma thesis entitled "A Marketplace Choreography" (N.T.U.A. 2009).
In 2012, she became a member of THEATRA-EnsadLab, a group of research on spaces of drama in ancient Greek theatre and contemporary scene (Paris). In 2013-14 she studied at the "Laboratoire d'Étude du Mouvement", scenography department of "École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq" in Paris.
Since 2010, she lives and works in Paris collaborating with architecture offices and developing personal projects at the same time (set design, production design, competitions).
In 2011, she obtained the 3rd prize of «8th OISTAT Theatre Architecture Competition 2011» organized by OISTAT (International Organization of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians) during Prague's Quadriennale. In the same year, she joined the theatre company Cie des Sens and created the set design for their first production, Age De Prune, by Aristides Vargas. In 2014, she started collaborating with the theatre company Cie Les Ménades on Euripides' plays (The Trojan Women, The Bacchae).
She also works as a production designer for the cinema and in web series (On Va En Parler, by F.Barthel and R.Mulot ; Feelings, by A.Senet ; Echo, by A.Diallo ; Still Water, by C.Duval).
She practices dance (ballet, modern, contemporary) since her childhood and over the last years she has participated in dance performances. In 2016, she followed a professional trainning on contemporary dance (Formation du Danseur) at "Rencontres Internationales de Danse Contemporaine" in Paris.
